Welcome to CalcDigi ("we," "our," or "us"). We operate the website located at calcdigi.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Site. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Site.
Automatically Collected Information: When you visit our Site, our servers may automatically log standard data provided by your web browser, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages you visit, time and date of your visit, and time spent on each page.
Calculator Inputs: All calculations on CalcDigi are performed locally in your browser. We do not transmit, store, or collect any personal data (such as weight, age, height, or financial figures) that you enter into our calculators. Your data stays on your device.
Cookies and local storage: We do not use cookies. If you switch on dark mode, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Analytics and advertising: We do not currently use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking services. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.
Contact form: If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message by email (delivered through our email provider, Resend) and use them only to reply.
We use the information we collect to:
The optional AI assistant (the "AI" button in the header) sends the questions you type, and the replies in that conversation, through our server to Anthropic, which generates the answer. Calculator inputs are not sent unless you type them into the assistant, so please don't include personal or sensitive information. To limit abuse, our server briefly keeps your IP address in memory to rate-limit requests; it is not stored. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for how Anthropic handles API data.
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect any information processed through our Site. However, no internet transmission is ever fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Site is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately.
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you and request deletion of that information. Since we do not collect personally identifiable information beyond standard server logs, we typically have no personal data to provide or delete. For any requests, contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
